Imogen studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art and since graduating in 2017 her practice has evolved through drawing and Toyobo plate etching methods. Forming the backbone of her practice, Imogen uses these methods to investigate anti-classical representations of the body and the experience of inhabiting it.
Sentinels – Hidden Door 2018
In 2018, her project ‘Sentinels’ showed a series of large-scale figurative prints addressing the theme of temporality and exploring the body through an ontological lens. The translucid-like images welcomed the visitors on Leith Theatre, creating an inviting and intimate experience.
